Information about tobogganing

Recommended toboggan runs:
Bussalp - Grindelwald (City Run), 8 km
Bussalp - Weidli (Speed Run), 4,5 km
Männlichen - Holenstein, approx. 6 km
Alpiglen - Brandegg (Eiger Run), approx. 2 km
Safety
- Warm, comfortable clothing and winter boots absolutely necessary.
- Children should wear a helmet.
- Plastic "bobs" are not suitable.
- Bussalp City run: At the sound of the Post Bus horn and the approach of a bus, stop immediately and step out of the way.
- Small children should never be allowed to toboggan alone.
- The special markings and signs must be respected.
- Please sit on your toboggan. Tobogganing head first and linking up together are not allowed.
- Adapt your speed to your ability and to the various different track and snow conditions as well as the amount of "traffic" on the track!
- Whilst tobogganing you should avoid having to stop in narrow places or blind corners. If you have a fall, please, move away quickly.
Snow Tubing
Snow tubing is fun for children and adults alike. Under the motto "Sit down and have fun", a specially constructed lift takes you up to the starting point. Here you embark on your dashing descent down the snow canal on a huge, inflatable ring - sliding, turning and twirling, faster or slower. Just great fun for the whole family!
Rules
Please respect the markings, signs and information boards as well as the last patrol times of the winter footpaths.
